“I am a huge advocate of gardening. This past summer several young ladies came to help me fence a new area. One was Becca who is working on her degree in Nutrition and focused on Food Sovereignity efforts at the grassroots level. The ladies in the Ft Peck area wanted to begin a food cooperative and have built a chicken coop to start producing fresh eggs with about 20 chickens. They had heard stories about my sharing of fresh veggies and came to visit and ask for gardening tips.” Listen to the conversation below.
