Expanding Livestock Markets Conference

Event Description:
Native was delighted to participate in the Western Sustainability Exchange‘s first annual Expanding Livestock Markets Conference held in Lewistown, Montana.
Over the course of the two-day event, ranchers had the opportunity to learn how they can work with nature to lower their input costs, increase the productivity of their ranch and receive a premium for their products.
The event included a tour of a regenerative ranch and panel discussions on why brands value regenerative practices, aggregation supply, verifying sustainable methods, and value-added opportunities.
Native’s Jennifer Cooper and Claire Lafave also joined representatives from Xanterra and Bridger Bowl to discuss and answer questions about carbon market opportunities for ranchers and funding for ecosystem improvements.
We loved having the opportunity to meet with ranchers, non-profits, and companies working together to protect and restore the Montana landscape.
